Up Close & Personal with Venerable Thubten Chodron, 24 November 2004


We are glad that Venerable Thubten Chodron likes the Kuan Yin statue!

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the arrival of Venerable so that the session can start.	Venerable is seated comfortably and starting with a short Meditation.	Heehee.....it is funny...all of us are laughing at Venerable's joke.

Shh! We are all listening intensely to Venerable...	I am handing out papers for written questions from participants who are too shy to ask questions.	Ahhh! A brave participant asking a question...

Heehee... oooh...an excited participant who prefer to look around then to meditate...	Wow! an interesting view from where I am seating!	hehee....another volunteer.... Ehh...another participant who is wide-eyed during meditation...

Wow! Venerable is busy signing autograph and receiving Dana!	Hey! I am so lucky to be able to make the connection with Venerable!	Yeah! Me too! I am lucky too!

Yes, i am feeling so blessed to have the opportunity to give Dana and get my book signed by Venerable.	I am hoping this will allow me to connect with the Dharma and Venerable.	Hehhee...I am really so happy that I am smiling from ear to ear.

Venerable, thanks for giving me the opportunity to meet with you!	Hmm... this feels so good!	Wow! my question has been answered!

This is a long queue for Venerable's autograph & Dana!	Look at the queues : One for the washroom, One for the purchases and One for Venerable's autograph & Dana...which one do we join...?heehee...	Me and my sister having a short chat with Venerable.

To show our warmest appreciation, We are giving a beautiful Kuan Yin Statue to Venerable. We hope Kuan Yin can occupy a small cosy space in Svravasti Abbey.

Hi everyone! This is Venerable Thubten Chodron with the Kuan Yin statue at Sravasti Abbey, USA. This is the statue that was given to Venerable during her Dharma talk here with us on 24 November 2004.

We want to say a "Big Thank You" to Venerable Thubten Chodron for accepting our invitation to give this private session and that many people are able to connect and benefit from Venerable's presence & teachings.

We hope that this session with Venerable has helped you take an alternative look at your inner being and spur you on to cultivate loving-kindness, Happiness & Compassion within your spiritual growth as many of you may be going through difficult times and/or are at a cross-road in your life journeys.

We hope that we can visit Venerable and her Abbey in the US soon in this lifetime and perhaps set up a Reiki practice there....and ..heehee...teach & give healing sessions in the Abbey and donate the proceeds to help maintain the Abbey...and we will just live & work in the Abbey...and that is if Venerable agrees to accept both of us...heehee...and that all good conditions ripen to support our aspiration. Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!

We really appreciate all your warmest support and kindest effort in attending this private session with us and Venerable. A "Big Thank you" to Hwee Leng, Choon Fah & the support team & everyone who has helped to make this session a smooth and joyful one.

May we dedicate this wonderful merit to Venerable Thubten Chodron, wishing her good health & longevity so that she can continue to spin the Wheel of the Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings... and..
May all of you & all sentient beings of the Universe find inner peace, joy, love & contentment and the causes of them in your life journey! Sahdu! Sadhu! Sadhu!

We are very sorry and apologize for any inconvenience caused to those of you who were not able to make it for the session. If all good seeds ripen, w e hope to be able to organize more of such beneficial sessions in the future and will update all of you on sessions like this one.
