| Organic, Vegetarian Cooking Class @ Yogi Hub, 16 Madras Street, 20 May 2007
Our motivation in co-organizing this Vegetarian cooking class is to introduce and encourage our Reiki students and their loved ones to learn easy, simple and yet delicious and healthy cooking to enhance their total wellbeing. These days, due to rising of colon cancers which mostly comes from the food that we eat. There are also many other types of cancers in this part of the world. It is helpful to recognize the importance of keeping a healthier lifestyle...therefore, we hope to emphasize and remind our students that it is essential for one to keep their body, mind and spirit in good balance where these days, these three aspects of many are not balanced...
Practising Reiki healing at its different levels, helps supports and enhances our physical, emotional and spiritual aspects. At the same time, one must understand that it is also crucial to put in good, consistent effort in maintaining a regular healing practice, observing a healthy diet and lifestyle as well as a positive attitude. The determination and willingness to transform one's inner energy will be further propelled by one's regular practice of Reiki which further empowers its healing energy.

See! look at the texture of the millet seeds...they are good for people
who wants to lose weight, or for those who have diabetes and high
blood pressure. It is easy to cook and delicious.

| How is it? can U all understand? |
ok...now let's go to the next step. |
U have to take care of the heat so that it does not burn. |
We had fun ! ..... trying out the taste of the food and asking questions. Lily, the instructor gave interesting and informative food tips that were beneficial to us. Many of us didn't realize that natural organic vegetables, mixed grains rice, millet porridge and the dessert made of oats, soya milk, granola and cut fruits without mixing in heavy spices, sauces, chilli can taste so good and yet healthy for our body. The cooking class ended well and most are keen to participate in the next cooking class. We hope that this class will benefit the participants and their loved ones in one way or another.
