The Best Spiritual Retreat is Wherever and Whenever You can put the Dharma into practice - Always Here and Now. - stonepeace.

Our group photo taken with Dr Shiva Prasad at the Ayur Centre in Ipoh, Malaysia. Can you guess who's who?
I am doing Reiki for this horse who seems tired and needs some healing. Can U see that there is a deva/angel (white round spot) on this horse's right cheek? hehee....interesting eh!... I am having a wonderful time with all of them, doing Reiki & chanting Mantras to all the horses kept in the stable which is located just next to the Ayur Centre.
Hey! wake up!
A contorted position is one way of sleeping...hehee.. Listening to the walkman....is another way of sleeping ...hehee..
Warming up ! Getting Ready for Yoga conducted by Dr Prasad at the centre...we are so lucky...It is important that everyone appreciates the kindness & generosity shown to us. We start with a short meditation before we begin. Hmm... These are race horses brought here to rest and relax for about one or two months before they have to race again... It is sad because they are manipulated by human beings to win money and are subjected to their whims and fancies.

Hey! I am feeding on the grass.... please don't step on it..hehee..

Does this horse look kind of sad? Hi! Horsey....where are U going to?
These two dogs are so friendly and lovable ...they run around in the field of the Horse stable. Look! U are so cute lah..tickle, tickle! heheee.. Yeah! It's us! We love it here at Ayur Centre...Dr Prasad, the staff, the food, the peace & tranquility.... we just hope we are not spoiling the peaceful energy with our group's interesting energy....
We are going to do Breathe Awareness meditation and follow with a Metta Meditation before Reiki. Do I have eyes like hers? Ehhh! Don't hug my neck so tight lah!
I aspire to be a horse whisperer! hehee... These goats love to butt at us...heee....we are keeping our fingers to ourselves! Ahhh...we are trying to be goat whisperers too....eheee..
Am I handsome? Ohhh... I am standing next to one of my favourite horse... Wah! Please don't try to kiss me ...hehee...
We are just crazy about horses.... This is a temple near the Ayur Centre. This is another angle taken from the top of the Temple.
Look at this luscious greenery. Hi! Peace to the World. Do we look like twins? heheee

A personal note: -
Quote: Way to Happiness

I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy.
From the very core of our being, we desire contentment.

In my own limited experience I have found that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being. Cultivating a close, warmhearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease. It helps remove whatever fears or insecurities we may have and gives us the strength to cope with any obstacles we encounter. It is the principal source of success in life. Since we are not solely material creatures, it is a mistake to place all our hopes for happiness on external development alone. The key is to develop inner peace. -His Holiness, Dalai Lama

Our motive in organizing this 3 days Ayurvedic Retreat for the Reiki students is to allow deep spiritual and personal healing enhanced by a peaceful & tranquil setting, and the expertise of an Ayurvedic Doctor, Dr Shiva Prasad and his crew which also includes consultation, yoga, daily Ayurvedic massages, treatments and food cooks with Lovingkindness. They are ever so patient, kind, generous and tolerant of the entire group's personal agendas and these innate qualities cannot be bought with money because it comes from the Heart.

We hope to encourage the practice of the 5 Reiki principles within each and everyone of us which will help to further enhance spiritual and personal transformation. Our intention is that everyone has benefitted one way or another from this Ayurvedic Retreat.

We are sure that these 3 days have been an interesting eye-opener for everyone. It is easy to clearly observe and understand every individual's state of Mind which corresponds  respectively with each of the Physical Action & Speech. Remember that the Mind is the ForeRunner of All Things!

It was indeed an interesting time to be up close and personal with everyone and getting to know them better.

Last but not least, We would also want to express our sincere thanks to all the participants of this trip for your patience with us and please forgive us if we have not been optimum with any services expected of us. We hope that everyone feels rejuvenated and gets to learn something new about themselves and especially from the Ayurvedic & Yoga classes conducted by Dr Shiva Prasad at no extra charge.

A Great Big Thank You to Dr Shiva Prasad, Mr Khi & crew for your Kindness, Patience, Generousity, Tolerance shown towards us during our stay in Ayur Centre, Ipoh,  Malaysia. For anyone who is keen to try out these wonderful Ayurvedic treatments to enhance your health. Please kindly bear in mind that it is very important for you to do it without any prejudices, rigid mindsets, comparisons or attachments to your own perceptions, likes & dislikes otherwise you may not be able to experience the food, remedies or environment and its full positive results. Instead of feeling rejuvenated and calm, you may cause your own mind & body to feel more agitated and restless and at the same time, causing unnecessary inconveniences to the management and crew. Do it with an open heart and mind.
