"Every Moment is Life" from "My Thought Diary"

9 Nov 2004:

As I look at my own writing in the past, I can visualize the movement of the hand, and feel the ink etching on the paper.

I always feel it was not written by this Serene, but rather by some Serene in the past, some Serene who does not exist anymore, some Serene who has died.

I finally know what death is…every moment we are dying.

Every moment, we are changing the body form and our mental state. The medical term “death” is just a clinical experience. It cannot be differentiated from any other “living” moment.

Having realized that, I am more aware of every moment I live. For every moment is life; every moment well-lived is life well-lived.
