Usui Reiki I Attunement Lizzie (Reiki Master/Teacher) will discuss on Reiki's history and more in depth about the 5 Reiki principles & its powerful transformation effects. The student receives an Attunement and she/he will spend another hour or two practicing the different hand positions. Lizzie emphasizes on the importance of understanding & practising the Reiki energy with the 5 Reiki principles well which will lay the very foundation for the student to being a great Reiki Practioner encompassing Compassion & Loving-Kindness to oneself and others. After the A ttunement , the student becomes a Reiki Practitioner and is now ready to channel Reiki (universal life force energy) through her/his hands. This first Attunement is called the Physical or Awakening Attunement. It is the initial opening of the healing channels and it often results in a detoxification process of the body which may take up to a month or more. For some, intuition may develop and many times, people do feel more sensitive & aware of themselves & their surrounding. Some people who already have "natural healing hands" may feel a stronger flow of energy and for others it may need more practice to feel the flow. The Reiki flow can manifest itself in different ways but it is often felt as a warm or tickling feeling in the palm chakras. It is important to always consistently practise healing on oneself while healing your family, friends, pets & plants. If You do not make effort & time in healing yourself , you will find it difficult to aid healing in others too. Practice is the Key to Improvement . The Reiki energy becomes more powerful when one practises it daily. Please allow oneself about 3 to 6 months or more for self-healing & transformation before proceeding to Reiki II and for some who have a natural gift for healing, they may be more inclined to be attuned to Reiki II sooner than others. However, this does not necessary mean one is better than the other as every one is an Unique individual . |
